Our story

Rooted in community. Growing together.

How we began

Born from a belief that no one should heal alone

Acacia Recovery was founded in 2018 after our founder, Dr. Maya Osei, spent years watching people cycle through treatment programs that addressed symptoms but ignored the root cause: isolation.

The acacia tree became our symbol — resilient, wide-spreading, and life-giving even in harsh conditions. Like the acacia, we believe people in recovery can not only survive but become a source of strength and shelter for others.

Today we serve hundreds of individuals and families across our community, offering programs that weave together clinical expertise, peer support, and genuine human connection.
